Jaxon is learning!

My cutie of a little boy! Isn't he just adorable.
Playing with his toy that spins and plays music! He loves it and is figuring out how make it work! He is getting really good at sitting up now and thinks it's pretty neat!
Okay, so this is a funny story! When Jaxon lays on his changing table, he has been grabbing the blinds and pulling on them. This morning I told him "Jaxon, No!" and he turned and looked at me and made this face. Never cried a noise, just made the face! He is learning the meaning of No and does not like it!

Happy Father's Day!

Jaxon made Daniel a t-shirt for Father's Day. (with my help of course).
It's plain on the front and the back says "Jaxon's Dad."
I used to do this when I was younger, pull my shirt over my head and pretend I had different color hair before bathtime. So now I do it with Jaxon and he thinks it's funny! Here he is enjoying some on the shoulder time with Daniel.
I think this little boy is absolutely adorable. He is definitely becoming a mama's boy, for sure!
He's learning how to wave at people. When he leaves daycare, they wave good-bye to him and he sticks his arm out like he's trying to wave back. I don't know if he was waving at me or if I just did a good job with the camera and caught his hand up like he is waving! So serious, though!

Pool side fun!

Jaxon and I spent the day at my parents ... in their swimming pool! The water was cold and he was tired, so his first trip in the pool was short lived, although, he did enjoy splashing his feet around and just checking things out! The 2nd picture is of him in the baby swing on the patio. He loved it and just swang for almost 1 hour straight.

Bathtime fun! (And I can sit up now!!)

So, now, Jaxon thinks he's cool. He can sit up on his own and the old bathtub that we had for him just wasn't working out anymore. He was trying to pull himself up and try to sit forward to play and splash in the water. So, we found this new "bath seat" at Babies R Us and he loves it! It's like a booster seat and it keeps him sitting up. He loves to splash around and play with the rubber ducks! The last picture is something I used pull my shirt up over my head like this before bathtime and pretend I had different color hair! He thought it was fun and loved getting kisses from me!

Jaxon is sitting up!

Such a big boy. He's been trying to sit up for a long time now. He is still very slightly wobbly, but he's pretty much got the hang of it. He tips from side to side, but is able to sit back up. He thinks he's pretty hot stuff! :-) He'll be crawling and walking in no time!

6/7/08 - Clinton is Flooded!!

Clinton is flooded, or it was. It's pretty much gone now. Other the past week it seems like we have had nothing but thunder, lightning, lots of damaging winds, and tons of water!
So, yesterday afternoon around 4:00pm it stopped raining so we were able to go for a little walk, not too far though, because it was flooded. All these pictures were taken 1/2 a block north of our house, on 6th St. Luckily being 1/2 a block away, we're up on a little hill, thank goodness!
