Redecorating!

Just shortly after posting the previous blog, Daniel called me into the living room.
Jaxon has pulled the planter off of the stand ... upside down.

He apparently didn't like where it was and thought he'd help out by redecorating!

Such a look of dissapointment when I put it back up on the stand!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

Jaxon enjoying some time on his new walker. He hasn't quite figured out how to make it move forward or backward yet, but he sure knows how to use the steering wheel!
Yummy for biter biscuits. They make quite the mess, but he sure loved gnawing on them!
Such a rough life! Taking a short morning nap on Grandma Shirley's couch before going to Bailey's open house.
Haven't had a picture of just the 2 of us in a while. We just celebrated 2 years of marriage on the 20th!

4 months old!

Got some new sunglasses at the mall. They're still a little bit big, but it won't be long until they fit!
This was my very special Mother's Day present from Jaxon. It's his little handprint. They made these at daycare! I love it!
Jaxon at his friend Haley's house on Friday. She had the rainforest jumperoo and he just loved it.
Daniel and Jaxon having som father/son time after a bath. Don't they both look so serious?!?
Another fun day of laundry. This time I tied a blanket on the basket and pulled him through the house. Much more fun than being carried!! What will we think of next .....

Best Friends

Jaxon's friend Jori Beasley showed up at the Relay for Life yesterday too. They had a good time playing together. Jori is 1 month and 4 days older. She's sitting up on her own. Jaxon really wants to, but he just doesn't have his balancing act together yet! Soon, though. She just loved him and they smiled at each other. Just remember, bald is beautiful!

Yay for baby food!

We were told by our doctor at our last appointment to start him on baby foods one meal a day. So, at dinner time we cut his formula intake in half and add on 2 types of baby foods. So far, his favorite is Prunes...no joke. He loves them, and you can't feed him fast enough. Other things he likes but not as much: sweet potatoes, bananas, apples, and green beans. This week we're going to try pears and carrots! At his 4 month appt. he was 19 pounds and 27 inches long!!!
This was Jaxon at my dad's surprise 50th birthday party. We took along his CARS chair for him to sit in and he just loved it. He was actually "talking" in the picture ... he enjoys doing that now. So sometimes it's hard to catch a smile because he's always talking to me! And if you ignore him, he gets louder and louder until you acknowledge him!
Another fun spring (very warm) day so we were in a tank top ... drooling all over it of course playing in our piano. He's figured out there is toys on both side and how he can spin his seat around and around! He's finally long enough (or tall enough) that his feet reach the piano keys at the bottom flat footed. So he's able to keep the music going on his own!
